Look, I’m going to tell you something that goes against basically everything you’re hearing about AI agents right now.
Everyone is building them. Or at least that’s what their pitch decks say. I’ve read dozens of agent-related decks in the last few months. Most of them are ChatGPT with a task list and a landing page.
Nobody is talking about this.
An agent that can think but can’t move money is a chatbot with ambition. An agent that can plan but can’t prove who it is is a demo. An agent that needs permission from a bank every time it acts is not an agent. It’s an intern with a form.
